We’re making it possible for you to register with the special “Lonely Rider” entry package: register as a “Lonely Rider”, tell us all about yourself and your cycling style, and we’ll take care of the match-making. We guarantee to find you a riding partner. Please carefully read all the registration and rider pairing information below.

Aside from matching you with a riding partner, the “Lonely Rider” entry package is just like any other package: it includes everything you need to guarantee an unforgettable gravel adventure in the Scottish wilderness. STEP 1

Pay for 'Lonely Rider' entry

Head over to the Raiders Gravel registration page and select one of the “Lonely Rider” packages. Add any optional extras, complete your details and pay for your official Raiders Gravel entry.

STEP 2

COMPLETE SURVEY

After successfully registering, you’ll receive a welcome email followed by a short survey. We’ll ask you for a bit more information about the type of rider you are, your abilities and ambitions at the event, your gravel biking experience level and a few other details. These will all help our expert team connect you with a suitable riding partner.

STEP 3

MATCH-MAKING MAGIC

Our team will review the details your provided and connect you with other riders that most suit your riding style and ambitions. You’ll then be able to decide if the partner we recommended is a match made in heaven. If it is, let us know, we’ll link your solo entries, you choose a team name and we’ll see you on the start line in October.

Event Village camping pitches

Each standard team entry includes a camping pitch with ample space for 2 tents. Riders may also opt for one motorhome parking space per team. Both options are available on-site in the heart of the Raiders Gravel Event Village. Access to shower and toilet facilities as well is 24-hour security is also provided.

Festival and entertainment

Raiders Gravel is about more than ‘just’ the gravel adventuring. Once you’re back from your ride you’ll be able to enjoy a bustling Event Village with food stalls, live music, poetry and much more.

Food and Nutrition

The Rider Dining Marquee in the Raiders Gravel Event Village will provide breakfast, recovery meals and dinner for every rider, starting with dinner on Thursday until dinner on Sunday.

Out on the route, our nutrition partner HIGH5 will keep you fuelled and ready to ride your best as you explore every last corner of the exciting routes.

Vegetarian, vegan and other dietary options will be provided wherever possible. Please make sure to specify these during your registration.

Water is provided from bowser throughout the Event Village. Each rider is entitled to a free welcome drink ahead of dinner each evening and an extensive selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks can be purchased from the Bar. 

Secure bike storage & bike wash

No need to worry about locking up your bike or trying to snuggle with it in your tent. Instead just drop it off with our partners at MucOff after each stage who’ll make sure your bike is clean and waiting for you in the secure bike park each morning.
